Momendots Privacy Supplement

Privacy Supplement for Momendots

Product-specific privacy supplement for Momendots, read together with the Amberwake Global Privacy Policy.

Last updated March 17, 2026

This Privacy Supplement applies specifically to Momendots and should be read together with the Amberwake Global Privacy Policy available at https://amberwake.com/privacy.

The Amberwake Global Privacy Policy remains the umbrella privacy document for Amberwake-operated products. This supplement adds Momendots-specific details about accounts, timeline content, media, personal reflection data, and product behavior. If a Momendots-specific privacy topic conflicts with the umbrella Amberwake policy for Momendots, this supplement prevails for that topic.

1. Scope of this supplement

This supplement covers Momendots-specific personal data processing on the Momendots public site, sign-in flow, and app experience.

It applies in addition to the Amberwake Global Privacy Policy and does not replace that document except where this supplement explicitly addresses a Momendots-specific topic differently.

2. Account and authentication data

Momendots currently uses account and sign-in flows based on email access and related authentication events.

  • Email address used for sign-in or account access.
  • Authentication requests, verification codes, sessions, tokens, and related security metadata.
  • Basic device or request metadata needed to validate access attempts, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot authentication issues.

3. Timeline and journal content

Momendots is built to store private timeline content created by the user. That content may include short text, long-form notes, collections, personal reflections, dates, and related journal structure.

  • Daily dot and timeline entries.
  • Moments, notes, and long-form written content.
  • Collections, tags, or organizational metadata.
  • Dates, chronology, and timeline positioning needed to render yearly, monthly, or life views.

4. Uploaded and linked content

Depending on product capabilities, Momendots may process user-uploaded or user-linked content associated with a timeline entry.

  • Images, audio, video, and external links attached by the user.
  • Metadata necessary to display, secure, or organize those attachments within the product.
  • Storage and delivery data needed to make user content available inside the user timeline.

5. Personal profile and life-view data

Some Momendots features may rely on optional personal context such as birth date or other profile inputs in order to render product views like a broader life timeline.

Where such information is collected, it is used to power the relevant Momendots feature and remains governed by the private-by-default model described in this supplement.

6. How Momendots uses personal data

  • To authenticate users and secure account access.
  • To store, organize, and render the private timeline and journal views.
  • To support product features such as yearly, monthly, or life-based perspectives.
  • To protect the service against abuse, fraud, unauthorized access, or operational failure.
  • To improve product reliability and usability without turning private journal content into a public social feed.

7. Sharing, visibility, and user control

Momendots is designed as a private-first product. Timeline content is intended to be private by default.

  • No public profile or public feed is created by default.
  • Any sharing features, if offered, are expected to be user-initiated and scoped to the selected content.
  • Momendots-specific sharing controls, exports, or artifacts may introduce additional behavior that will be described in this supplement as the product evolves.

8. Retention, export, and deletion

Momendots content and account data may be retained for as long as needed to operate the service, maintain security, preserve backups, comply with legal obligations, and support account recovery or deletion workflows.

Where Momendots later adds product-specific export, deletion, or recovery features, those flows and their retention implications should be documented as part of this supplement.

9. Product-specific processors and telemetry

Momendots may rely on Amberwake-operated infrastructure and selected service providers to host the product, deliver authentication messages, protect the service, and operate the public site and app.

If Momendots later adds product telemetry, media processors, AI features, or other providers not already covered by the umbrella Amberwake policy, this supplement should be updated to describe those categories clearly.

10. Contact and governing document order

Privacy inquiries relating specifically to Momendots should be routed through the Amberwake legal or privacy contact path described in the Amberwake Global Privacy Policy.

For Momendots-specific privacy topics, this supplement complements the Amberwake Global Privacy Policy and prevails for Momendots where the two differ.
